Kumasi Learning Academy is a private school in the heart of Kumasi. Before working with us, they had no website – they relied on brochures, word‑of‑mouth, and occasional social media posts. Enrolment was growing, but managing inquiries, applications, and fee collection was becoming a burden.
Parents couldn't easily find information about the school. Admissions were paper‑based, causing delays. Fee payment was only possible in person, which was inconvenient for working parents.
The Solution
We built a complete school website that serves as a digital front door for the academy. Key features include:
- School profile – mission, vision, history, and leadership.
- Online admissions portal – parents can apply for their child, upload documents, and track application status.
- Fee payment integration – MoMo and card payments for school fees, with automatic receipt generation.
- Academic calendar – term dates, holidays, and exam schedules.
- News & events section – updates on school activities, sporting events, and achievements.
- Staff directory – contact information for teachers and administrative staff.
- Parent portal – access to student reports and fee statements (under development for next phase).
Results & Impact
Within the first term after launch, the school received over 60% more enrolment inquiries compared to the previous year. Most notably, 80% of fee payments are now made online, drastically reducing the time staff spent handling cash and reconciling payments.
The headteacher, Mrs. Mensah, commented: "SamzyDigital didn't just build a website – they built a tool that helps us run our school better. Parents love the convenience, and our admin team is no longer overwhelmed. We've already seen a noticeable increase in applications."
